Citizen CL-S700
The CL-S700 printer was designed from the very beginning for easy access.
The Hi-Open ™ housing opens up vertically, which means that when you open the printer cover, the amount of space it occupies does not change. The printer can be set between the computer and the wall, and you can still open it to insert the media.
Loading the tape is just as easy and fast with the metal Hi-Lift ™ mechanism, which opens at an angle of 90 °, providing easy access to the tape. It also simplifies loading the media with free access to the media path.
Of course, the industrial-grade printer has a high-performance metal housing that ensures reliable and uninterrupted operation. The printer supports a full-size media roll (external diameter of 8 inches or 200 mm) on a small core (1 inch or 25 mm), which ensures maximum uptime.
Tape with a maximum length of 450 meters (1476 ft), rolled up inside or outside, provides maximum flexibility and minimum downtime.
According to the principle of simplicity and ease of access, the power switch is located on the front of the printer. Above that, a large, graphical LCD display clearly shows the state of the printer and makes it easy to configure. In addition to showing the current status of the printer, such as no media or print readiness, you can also use the LCD panel to make small changes to its configuration. This is done easily and quickly using the menu system.
After placing the new media in the printer, close the top cover for the user's safety and convenience.
ARCP ™ - Active Ribbon Control & Positioning - active belt position control eliminates wrinkling of the tape and media slippage in the case of small or specialized media, which is especially important for longer tapes.
Standard equipment includes parallel, serial and USB interfaces, and optionally the user can install Ethernet and WLAN cards.
